This was taken at the Storm King boat ramp at sunrise.
This was just 30 minutes after sunrise and few clouds were still dancing about for us.
At the end of Lake Crescent (Fairholm) is a grove of these VERY OLD magnificent oak trees. They are all covered in moss but do leaf out every spring. We were there a little early for the leaves. But his tree is glorious in all the seasons.
This very foggy shot was taken at Lake Crescent. At least it stopped raining!
I am always fascinated by the fog and clouds drifting in and out of the tree in the Olympics. I thought this was more powerful in Sepia.
Kids getting in one last swim from the Fairholm dock on Lake Crescent. The water is always sooooooo clear here.
