I shot this photo of a Kingfisher in the Amazon. He is very similar to ours, just a little tweak in the coloring, but just as fast!

Kingfishers are skiddish and FAST. So I was very happy he granted me permission to photograph him!

This kingfisher kept going in and out of the bushes near the marina. The photo gets soft around his head and left wing due to the blowing leaves.
