This beautiful bird was very active catching bugs and then returning to this branch to eat or feed his mate.
This beautiful butterfly found plenty of tasty plants in the Amazon.
This VERY FAST Kingfisher finally stopped for a second. Long enough for me to capture this shot from a VERY BOUNCY boat.
This male was very protective of the younger howlers.
This male was not happy that we stopped our canoe to watch his troupe in the tree tops. So he positioned himself over us and pooped (just missing my husband but hitting our guide). He got us moving again!
I shot this photo of a Kingfisher in the Amazon. He is very similar to ours, just a little tweak in the coloring, but just as fast!
