I went to Whitney Gardens in Brinnon (just an hour from Sequim). They are a nursery and HUGE rhododendron garden. Plants were just budding up…but I had fun with my macro lens. I’ll have to go back in a week when all will be blooming.
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

This is a huge picturesque farm off of hwy 101 just before you reach Sequim. This family has been here since 1910 farming and logging. Often within the white fence are baby cows and sheep (which I have been seen crawling up to the fence to photograph!)
This bonded pair (did you notice the second one below?) has been hunting in the bay all week long. They are reinforcing their nest (they usually come back year after year) and will will have babies soon.
These little Sally Crabs were everywhere in tidepools in the Galapagos. They rarely ran away, usually putting their lil claws up in a fighting stance.
This farm outside Chimacum was glowing in the light. I just had to pull over…
This bear was not very stealthy in his attack of the fish. He would just run and turn and run and splash splash splash.
