Ok they are REALLY cute…but unless we’re going to celebrate Christmas in July soon, they’re a little confusing.
This is a regular land iguana basking in the sun.
Contrary to popular belief, it does NOT rain every day in Seattle. This was taken from the Bainbridge Island Ferry in June.
What do you call a group of Marine Iguanas? A MESS–no seriously that is really what it’s called! We got off our zodiak and started walking the trail in search of iguanas. When I turned the corner, I almost stepped on one. Then I realized there were hundreds of them everywhere.
We’re lucky that the beaches are only an hour or so away.
