Oh you are so BEAUTIFUL! I just love their plumage.
The high dessert museum (just south of Bend) is AMAZING and has an exhibit of river otters that have been rescued. They were so curious. this one stood on a rock in the shallows to get a good look around.
We thought we were seeing large/fat chipmunks. But these are ground squirrels. Just slightly bigger but no stripe on the head.
I know I haven’t posted any Olympic Peninsula photos for a while. But the birth of my adorable grandson has me distracted in Central Oregon. I’m not a portrait photographer (landscape and wildlife-yes). So this has been a new adventure photographing this lil one. I’ll try to renew my coffers of Olympics pictures soon.
The smoke finally cleared enough to get a good sunset shot at Smith Rock in Central Oregon.
