This male Howler monkey was NOT happy that our canoe stopped near his troop. He kept hollering and when we did not move he climbed out on a branch over our boat and pooped. Needless to say that got us moving!
Sequim 4th of July Celebration
Sequim hosts a great 4th of July fireworks display at Carrie Blake Park each year. There are bands that play in the amphitheater all afternoon, with food trucks at the park, followed by fireworks. (This was from last years celebration)
Wildlife Wednesday-Pelicans
At the beach at Otter Rock on the Oregon Coast. I’ve NEVER seen so many Pelicans in one place. There were several hundred.
Join us or else!
The steampunk accessories often include armament frequently made from instruments.
Steampunk Festival Port Townsend
Every year Port Townsend hosts a steampunk Festival. There are parades (seen here), Dances and all sorts of events. People REALLY dress up for this event. Many costumes costing upwards of $1000, by the time you add all the accessories.
Carrie Blake Park
This very diverse park in Sequim has a Japanese garden filled with ducks!
You’re not seeing things….
Ok they are REALLY cute…but unless we’re going to celebrate Christmas in July soon, they’re a little confusing.
