I just needed a pop of color today and a reminder that spring with all its colors is just around the bend.
This is one of many Horse ranches in Sequim Valley.
I am so lucky to have this as a view out my window every day. We still run to the window yelling BALDY/BALDY every time we see them.
I’ve lived in the NW so long I forget just how cool ferried are. It’s only when I have guests from inland that are mesmerized by everything that I see it fresh.
So when the boat lands- a ramp is lowered to the deck (kinda like an airport ramp docking to a plane.) THen the “walk-on” passengers can disembark while everyone who came on a car drives straight out the front.
When I looked at this shot from Kingston Ferry dock it reminded me instantly of a peacock–just me?
Bon Bons was sweet to pose for our holiday card this year–just for a second before going back to bopping the twinkling lights.
