The Wildebeest start gathering at the river’s edge by the thousands. When 1 finally goes, they all go. Our guides estimated that about 8000 went during this crossing.

You have to be careful drving up to Hurricane Ridge in the spring as tons of baby fawns are running across the road where it’s easier to walk. Their mamas are always herding them back to tasty morsels to eat.

I am so lucky to have this as a view out my window every day. We still run to the window yelling BALDY/BALDY every time we see them.

There is a large RAFT of sea otters in Morro Bay. (Did you know a group of otters is called a raft? Great name!)
