The sun came out yesterday for a gorgeous (but cold!) day in Sequim after the snow. When we drove down by the water last night, there was a purple glow in the sky and on the water and it was really pretty. Everything is still frozen here.

Dungeness Landing
Spot for a rest
We just finished up camping at the Dungeness Rec Area, we were there for almost two weeks. This is a nice place to take in the view if you need a rest on your walk or to watch the sunset.
Another mountain view
Mountain View
The mountains are “out” with this nice weather we’ve been having. It wasn’t a completely clear day, but it was nice to see the mountains make an appearance.
Port Williams
Marlyn Nelson County Park. I went there yesterday and there was this really nice man there playing fetch with his dog Anna. It’s interesting how the feel of a day can change depending on the people I interact with during it. Some days I run into grumpy people and have to shake it off…yesterday I kept running into nice people and it makes a difference.
Blue sky
Even yesterday when it was raining in Sequim (yes, it does happen) I saw blue sky down by the Dungeness Spit. I’d look toward the mountains and it was dark sky…look towards the water and it was blue sky. There have been times when it’s raining at home and we drive down to the Rec area to walk knowing we have time to beat the rain and get our walk done.
