As I was taking this shot of the iceberg at the summers lowest light (sun never sets in August), my friend was taking a picture of me!
The walrus on the left lost a tusk. Life in the arctic is tough.
This beautiful island in the Arctic was home to tens of thousands of birds. THe nutrients flowing from the waterfalls supported millions of shrimp–every birds favorite!
This hawk was was fast and far away in the Bosque del Apache. But he was very fun to track and TRY to get a good shot of!

Unfortunately a guest on our ship did not listen to our guides and scared the lounging pack of walrus. It’s hard to move that much blubber!
