Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
Workers and volunteers use mule trains to get supplies into the national forest/park as motorized vehicles are not allowed. It does make hiking the trails when they are there VERY INTERESTING. It became a mine field of poo as well as so very skinny bypasses. But we are grateful for their work.
What a treat to have such dappled sunlight on the trail this am.
While chasing my Kingfisher about, I stopped to take some new photos of the Railroad Bridge since they have straightened the approach from the Audubon Center.

My biking group rode from the ferry in Bainbridge around west Seattle–this was a gorgeous view from our trail.
You have to watch out for incoming tides if you hike the 5 miles to the light house…especially if you want to get back!
Next to the Olympic Discovery Trail is this little gnome garden–ever changing.
