
This gull on my dock had a sea star stuffed halfway down its’ throat. He was working on it for a good 40 minutes when it finally managed to get it all down–whole! I wasn’t sure it would survive this event. But about a half hour later it flew off.

I saw this when i was shooting birds on Sequim Bay. The water was so pretty. Who needs birds?
At the entrance to Sequim bay-walkable by starting at Port Williams, is a popular spot for shore fishing.
Living across from the John Wayne Marina rally provides a constant show. The fog comes and goes very quickly in the fall.
I looked out my back window and saw “Buck” here laying down. Now I get deer all the time but they never lay down (they save that for Port Townsend!)
When my hubby finally go to close, he got up but he clearly had a hurt foot. Otherwise he was BEAUTIFUL and healthy–probably because HE’S the one that at all my garden…
This baldy who just lept from my tree outside my back window at dusk flew down and caught a nice meal from the bay.
Monday was the last day of crab season. Wow was it a good one!
