
Every year there is a rowing/gathering of the various tribes in our area. They start in British Columbia and go down Puget sound. This morning I saw our local tribe practicing on Sequim Bay. Their boat AND paddles are beautiful.

This kingfisher caught a little goby and was shaking the heck out of it before he downed it in one gulp!

This Mallard was doing all sorts of jigs to get his mates attention….She didn’t seem overly impressed!
This kingfisher kept going in and out of the bushes near the marina. The photo gets soft around his head and left wing due to the blowing leaves.
But it reminded me of an angel flying…
My friend calls these “Jesus Clouds”…
Both our fathers were pastors. And both of remember a picture like this with sun rays and Jesus behind almost every baptismal in our youth.
It is an awe inspiring sunset, taken thru my living room window.
