The Lavender Festival starts tomorrow. It’s the largest lavender event in North America. The photo above is Port Williams Lavender, one of the farms on the tour. Locals, are you ready?
Port Williams
Marlyn Nelson County Park. I went there yesterday and there was this really nice man there playing fetch with his dog Anna. It’s interesting how the feel of a day can change depending on the people I interact with during it. Some days I run into grumpy people and have to shake it off…yesterday I kept running into nice people and it makes a difference.

IHOP in Sequim Now Open
I have never been to an IHOP restaurant, but the amount of hits on the site recently for people Googling Sequim IHOP indicates to me people are clearly interested in when it’s opening. It opened yesterday and it was packed when we drove by to take this picture. I just looked up the menu online and it’s not just pancakes and breakfast food like I was thinking, they have a pretty full menu.
