
When I hike people often stop and look where I’m looking/photographing and say “What are you looking at?” I’ll say the dirt, or the trees etc… and I often get a “huh…” response. I find beauty EVERYWHERE.

The Whitney Gardens had a greenhouse full of beautiful blooming bleeding heart plants. The only trouble was trying to isolate a branch. So I did remove a lot of competing plants and add a texture to the background in photoshop to make this beautiful flower stand out.
We had a break in the weather, so got up at 0 dark thirty to be able to arrive at the lake before sunrise. We were hoping for some clouds to make it interesting. Mother Nature did not disappoint!

Taken from the Bainbridge ferry. The mountain is notoriously covered in clouds. So I was happy you could at least see the shape of it.
