Point Wilson Lighthouse
This is a BEAUTIFUL shot taken by Ardythe Wendt where she and many of my friends are docents. The point Wilson Lighthouse is in Port Townsend within Fort Worden State Park.
Youth and the teeter/totter
Kids Making their own fun at Rialto beach.
The rugged Washington Coast
Rialto beach never disappoints no matter what the weather. Our coastline is NOT great for swimming: Cold/rocky/terrible rip tides/ and lots of floating killer logs. But it is amazing to watch and to photograph.
Sol Duc Beauty
The Sol Duc River splits into these three tails making the falls. This is just the very top of the falls. It’s one of my favorite falls in the area.
Last of the lights
I pass down thru the lit village every night during the holiday season. It just sparks my spirit, it is so festive and pretty. Then they take the lights down and it’s winter and it seems so blah…
Railroad bridge at sunset
Our WOW group continued on to the railroad bridge which is also all lit up (thanks again to the S’Klallam Tribe.) We arrived about 4:30 and the sky was all orange thanks to the setting sun. I’ve never seen it like this before. The silhouetted trees were outrageous. And the contrast of the cool lights and the warm sky breathtaking. So happy I was there WITH a camera!
