This is a great waterfall to visit for ANYONE– it is just a afew hundred yards from the road on a relatively smooth path. An it’s specatular!
We had just debarked the ferry at the Coopevilled dock when I saw this (I believe) short eared owl hunting at the Crockette Lake Preserve. I was able to follow him for about 10 minutes which was really exilarating!

Sequim is all about its lavender in July and August. The 3rd weekend in July is always lavendar festival. Although the last 2 covid years have put a big damper on things. The fields are once again open this year.
