
I shot this on a bike ride to the top of Hurricane Ridge. I was afraid if I stopped to shoot it, I might never get going again. However is was at one of the few dips on the way up and it was so beautiful with the clouds dropping in.

Having worked in hospitals treating head injuries for over 20 years, I’ve seen the aftermath of way too many car accidents…especially on New Year’s eve. Stay safe everyone!

When I looked at this shot from Kingston Ferry dock it reminded me instantly of a peacock–just me?
I have lived here for almost 7 years and I never knew Kingston lit up the park at the ferry dock. It was amazing! As the ferry docked everyone was ohhing and ahhhing.
Riding the ferries from the peninsula is really breathtaking. EVERY ride is different with changing views.
Jamestown is ALL lit up at Christmas. A worker told my hubby the tribe spends $4 million a year on lighting up all the public spaces they do each year.
