Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
I saw this heron come out of the grass to hunt, and all of a sudden fish were jumping everywhere. It was a long way away even for my 600mm lens but I did manage to capture two fish jumping.
I was told these are licorice ferns. I just love how they come right our of the moss in the trees of the Olympics
My friends took me to their favorite secrete spots along the road of Lake Crescent for our first shoot in several pandemic years. I was intrigued by this bark and fern moss on the side of this tree. THen I saw Ardythe peaking around the other side. Makes me smileāI have GREAT friends!
This belted kingfisher was nice enough to land on the closest sailboat to the sidewalk at the John Wayne Marina. I only had my lil panasoic point and shoot.
Everywhere you turn in the Olympics there is a waterfall or babling brook. This is just 40 minutes from Sequim.
