If you have been watching or reading the “news”, the Pacific Northwest has been inundated with rain in the last 4 days. It continues today. This photo was taken through my car window. Tomorrow I will share with you a photo of our local river…not yet flooding, but close.

Sunlight Through The Windows
I don’t have a lot to say about this picture. I took it when I should have been listening to the Sequim City Band that I wrote about in a previous “post”. I just returned from a trip and appreciate all those who have stopped by in my absence. Now for a little tour around the world on my computer!
Reflections on the Water
I actually shot this photo about 2 weeks ago. I’m out of town today, “reflecting” on the good things about old friends. Back soon.
Christmas Trees
I walked into Costco last week…and there they were. Not even November yet and this big box store already had them displayed, lit and for sale. Hum…
Costco at Twilight
Those of us who live in this area, like to think of Costco as a Northwest company based in Kirkland. But for a more accurate history of the company touted as a Wal-Mart buster, check out this information “on Costco…from Japan”
Sequim Community Church Stain Glass
In between sets at the Sequim Community Band performance last Sunday, I couldn’t keep from taking this shot of one of the stain glass windows at “Sequim Community Church” . At one time, the church was Sequim Presbyterian Church. They changed to a community church about 2 years ago and have a huge congregation. Although not where I attend church, I have a great admiration for their out reach to youth.
About to Disappear..from it’s present location
Old Town Hall is disappearing from it’s present location. built in 1914, the building served as a town hall and then later as the Public Works Department. When they out grew the space, the building sat empty for the last couple of years. Now the city needs the space to expand the current city hall. The City of Sequim offered it to the highest bidder and the building was purchased for $1001 last week. It will be moved to another location and be renovated with the hopes of attracting a tenant. I’ve also included a small thumnail of the building in it’s present location.
