Sequim Community Church Stain Glass

stglass.jpg

In between sets at the Sequim Community Band performance last Sunday, I couldn’t keep from taking this shot of one of the stain glass windows at “Sequim Community Church” . At one time, the church was Sequim Presbyterian Church. They changed to a community church about 2 years ago and have a huge congregation. Although not where I attend church, I have a great admiration for their out reach to youth.

About to Disappear..from it’s present location

townhallsi.jpg Old Town Hall is disappearing from it’s present location. built in 1914, the building served as a town hall and then later as the Public Works Department. When they out grew the space, the building sat empty for the last couple of years. Now the city needs the space to expand the current city hall. The City of Sequim offered it to the highest bidder and the building was purchased for $1001 last week. It will be moved to another location and be renovated with the hopes of attracting a tenant. I’ve also included a small thumnail of the building in it’s present location.
