Normally raspberries don’t come with white specks of paint all over them, but weekend before last, Baby Girl and my Big Boy came to help Grandma paint the new garden gate/arbor…and what’s the big deal about a little bit of paint. My sister told me I was teaching them an important skill…very useful later in life. And to think I thought we were just spending the afternoon together and having a really good time…..Yes, the raspberries are loaded. It should be another bumper year. The bees are having the time of their life, buzzing around.
On the right of the thumbnail, you can see some of my lavender. Tomorrow, I will feature Jardin du Soleil.

Happy Monday! Coralbells
Just flowers and little things in my garden
I’m back from my trip, sufficiently quilted out, and ready to hit the last two week of school running…well at least with a smile on my face.
The black piece of obsidian is from my old junior high science teacher days. The sand dollars are from a beach on the west end…and the little statue is from a dear friend who was here when I was at war with the bunnies.
So how is your June starting? the good camera is not back yet…and I don’t take this as a good sign. Breaking down and buying a new one is not the problem…the problem is which one in a price range I can afford!
Do you know the name?
Today is Theme Day…and for the first time I am not participating (I’m out of town)…but if you go and see my brother, you can visit the world and see the view from many a CDPBers bedroom window!
This photo wasn’t taken from my bedroom window…but if I had my good camera back…it could have been.
I have this really nice blue flower in my back yard. A friend dug some from her yard and gave them to me. I could ask…but I thought I’d ask you first.
Flying Dormer
For the local viewers…remember the little brown modular home on display, north side of the road, just before you got to Sunny Farms? It’s been for sale for awhile and I happen to notice it was gone just this last week. Well, I know where it is…just down the street! Baby girl and my big boy were here helping me paint the new arbor when we noticed a small crane driving down the street. We went to investigate and were rewarded with this sight!
PS. Word Press will allow me to post over the next couple of days. I need to run away for a few days and de stress. Yesterday I got a ticket for speeding…the first in over 34 years…and the really bad part is I deserved it. Thank goodness my babies weren’t with me.
Pinks and Reds
These lovely plants are in the gardens at St. Joes.
Two of Clallam County's Finest
Nope…they aren’t loafing. They were at kids day for the “Touch a Truck” event. This Memorial weekend they are hot on the trail of speeders. Drive safe out there.
