Besides all the lavender fields –lots of people come to see the vendors at Carrie Blake park. There are also food trucks and concerts all day.
Lots of places to sit while your significant other gets their Lavender on!
Sequim hosts a great 4th of July fireworks display at Carrie Blake Park each year. There are bands that play in the amphitheater all afternoon, with food trucks at the park, followed by fireworks. (This was from last years celebration)
This very diverse park in Sequim has a Japanese garden filled with ducks!
I loved this fancy daffodil I found at Pioneer Park in Sequim.

They clearly knew what was coming next.
Our WOW group continued on to the railroad bridge which is also all lit up (thanks again to the S’Klallam Tribe.) We arrived about 4:30 and the sky was all orange thanks to the setting sun. I’ve never seen it like this before. The silhouetted trees were outrageous. And the contrast of the cool lights and the warm sky breathtaking. So happy I was there WITH a camera!
