I love watching sea stars move. They can even flip themselves over.
He was only the size of a quarter. But I was so excited to see him. A disease wiped out 90% of the sea stars on the west coast in 2018. It is great to see them returning.

This was taken at Red Rocks just outside of Las Vegas. Go early before it’s scorching out, bringsome water and explore. It’s only 30 minutes from town and it’s amazing!
This was taken at Salt Creek park on a minus 3 tide.
They have GREAT tide pooling here. It’s only 40 minutes from Sequim.

It’s actually night! Taken after midnight in Yosemite trying to catch the infamous moonbows. I did get a moonbow later. But I like this shot best.
I took this photo at the Japanese Garden in Carrie Blake Park. It was good but I like this painterly version better.
This is an AMAZING park in Sequim with botanical and japanese gardens, dog parks, a fishing pond, pickleball courts, playgrounds, an amphitheater, soccer fields and more.
