Can you find my lil snow ninja with nunchucks?
I love all the patterns that animals/birds leave in the snow.
This beautiful bird has been hanging out at my house the past few weeks. He’s super skiddish and I had to take this hiding thru my window. My cat’s always spot him first. I see them freeze while looking up, then I see him. He sweeps his head side to side to look at us. But if I move too fast to get my camera he spooks and flies away.
It took quite a lot of discussion with my birding friends to figure out what he is. He has been identified as a Red Tail Hawk.
He is gorgeous!
This lil guy, who I normally don’t even notice, looked so pretty covered in snow. I gave it a little painterly effect.
Did the Sequim Bay creature make it to my back yard?
This lil guy sits on this branch every day and hardly moves. He just looks around to make sure no one is going to eat him, and then gets a drink from the feeder and goes back. This day he was hanging on for dear life as the branch was whipping all about in a winter rain and wind storm.
