I love it when the fog seems to just wrap around trees.
When you look up the forecast for Sequim, it often is wrong because the tower they use is closer to Port Angeles and doesn’t take into account the rain shadow. However, on many of our bike rides as we look toward the Olympic Mountains, we keep our fingers crossed the hole will hold! ANGRY skies…
I got up three days in a row to try to capture this full (or nearly) moonset over the mountains in central OR. The clouds and especially the smoke were not cooperating. But I finally achieved the shot I was hoping for.
I had been out shooting from the marina when it started to die down so I went home. When I got home I saw this view from my house!
I have never been able to capture the aurora before. This was a glorious nite with dancing colors for hours.
