This is a private slot canyon in Paige Arizona. They are amazing to see. We had to wait several days due to rain which makes these canyos treacherous. You could see the wae and debris line about 12 feet up the sides.
Gibbs lake is always changing, but I love getting reflections of fall foliage. This year the lilypads were still there.
I just loved these backlit fungi with their ribs highlighted.
This lil waterfall of fungi was pouring over the edge of this log.
Thank goodness for the articulating screen so I didn’t have to do my usual lay on the ground to get the shot…It had been raining really hard!
This is an iconic place. But like the Grand Canyon it’s even more amazing in person. We were there during a monsoonal 4 day storm. But it broke long enough to get some great shots with crazy skies.
I had to lay on my belly and crawl to the edge so I could show you the edge!
On an hike around Gibbs Lake the raindrops on the lichen kept catching my attention. This photo really doesn’t do it justice. Nature is always amazing. So go out and Forest Bath…it will do your soul good.
