I was on a photo safari in Yellowstone in winter. It was 25 below. But I braved the weather when I saw the light coming thru this forest and this lil creek. It was memsmerizing. (AND COLD!)

Yard art takes on a new meaning in Sequim
Sequim was/ is a farming community. Good soil, good irrigation (thus the irrigation festival) and mild weather–all good for growing. So many of the smaller gentleman’s farms have interesting yard “art”.
This is on the way to the entrance to the Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park.

Faraway Friday Slim Slot Canyon
This is a private slot canyon in Paige Arizona. They are amazing to see. We had to wait several days due to rain which makes these canyos treacherous. You could see the wae and debris line about 12 feet up the sides.
I need a frog for all those lilypads…
Gibbs lake is always changing, but I love getting reflections of fall foliage. This year the lilypads were still there.

I just loved these backlit fungi with their ribs highlighted.

Thank goodness for the articulating screen so I didn’t have to do my usual lay on the ground to get the shot…It had been raining really hard!
