
I LOVE barns. So living in the Northwest is really handy. Everywhere I turn I can find a barn. There is a lot of agriculture here. Driving down the road I saw the trees in the background emerging from the mist. I just had to stop.

I was told these are licorice ferns. I just love how they come right our of the moss in the trees of the Olympics
My friends took me to their favorite secrete spots along the road of Lake Crescent for our first shoot in several pandemic years. I was intrigued by this bark and fern moss on the side of this tree. THen I saw Ardythe peaking around the other side. Makes me smile–I have GREAT friends!
When I was hiking around Lake Crescent with my friends we encoutered this “tree fox” coming out of the log. It looked like a fox face with a snoot full of ferns/moss.
