I’m not a morning person by nature. But First light does magical things to the landscape. I couldn’t sleep and saw this out my window and said “I may as well go shoot”. So I got in my car and had a terrific morning. I really am blessed to live here.
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

My friends and I go often to Lake Crescent in the Olympic National Park. It’s only 45 minutes from Sequim. No matter the weather there are gorgeous things to see and hike to.
I love walking the many beaches right in the Sequim area to see what fauna are around. Usually you can find at least one Bald Eagle.
When I go birding in Sequim at sunrise I’m usually greeted by really pretty light on the Olympic mountains.
Living in Sequim you are surrounded by beauty in every direction…
Either the Olympic mountains to the south or the Straight of Juan de Fuca to the north. And for me I get the added sights of Sequim Bay. This was take thru my living room window.
