This was taken from the Bainbridge Island Ferry just before docking at Coleman Dock in Seattle.

You have to get up early for reflection
Lake Crescent is so beautiful…even better from the water.
I love the reflections of the rock walls in the water here. But every day by about 10 am the winds have begun and no more reflections.
This area is of a railroad tunnel ( just to the left of the wood bridge) that is now part of the Olympic Discovery trail.
West Seattle View
This is a different view of SEattle taken from the waterfront trail in WEST seattle.
Faraway Friday–The high Arctic
I loved this shot when I saw it. We were hiking and it looked like this boulder had rolled down the glacier (which was actually on the other side of the bay.)
That “lil” boulder…was bigger than a bus!
Summer Sequim Farm
Lake Crescent railroad tunnel
The Olympic Discovery Trail now runs completely around the North side of the lake. It is pedestrian and now bike friendly (no more gravel!)
You have to bring a light source because the tunnels are pitch black, but they aren’t too long. Below the bridge are kayakers enjoying the day.
Faraway Friday-Artic Gems
Most of the ice bergs were blue. It has something to do with compression.
But most of them looked like giant gem stones.
