This old wagon did make it to Oregon…but in made it no further than Bend.
Old is everywhere…
Around Shaniko were around 50 old 40-50’s era cars just strewn around the fields.

I had to work very hard for this image–due to the neon light pollution coming from the stage to my right. My ghost town decided to have a 75 yr festival the nite I showed up!

Shaniko is a ghost town east of Redmond Oregon that is very well maintained. I signed up night for a workshop there and when our group arrived there was a 75th anniversary festival with hundreds of people and a band with lit up neon lights flashing everywhere. So THAT made the nite shoot INTERESTING…
Fortunately the sunset was spectacular!
