Who says it rains all the time in Seattle? That’s just what they say to deter all those Californians from moving here!
You always get the best view of Seattle from the ferries. If you come to Seattle walk on to the Bainbridge island ferry from Seattle (only 35 minute crossing around $7 RT) Browse the lil downtown and then come back to this view of the Skyline (sunshine NOT guaranteed)
Rialto beach never disappoints no matter what the weather. Our coastline is NOT great for swimming: Cold/rocky/terrible rip tides/ and lots of floating killer logs. But it is amazing to watch and to photograph.
I love taking pictures of doors and windows and making them a bit more artistic. I used a smidge of a filter called electrified on this church window.
I’m not sure where they migrate to, but the lil cuties are gone now. Until we meet again sir.
From up on Bell Hill you could see protection island and even Mt Baker faintly in the distance. Sequim doesn’t usually get much snow in town. But if you go up just 100 ft into the foothills (like the Bell Hill neighborhood) you’ll find snow.
I waited for over an hour for this eagle to take off. The light was waning away when he finally did. He looks very determined. Was that what my face looked like while I was concentrating on the shot?
