This log with the interesting natural top was at Lake Crescent. It just reminded me of an elf house. So I digitally added the ladder. The elf approved.

I had fun watching these two ducks at Lake Crescent. They did everything in perfect synchronization. It was like watching duck synchro swimming!
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
It was just barely blooming when I went this year (April 5th) this year– I went to a new smaller garden right next to the big ones. It was called Garden Rosalyn. It was all sculpted with beautiful wavy lines. There were no big fields. It was beautiful. I can only imagine when in full bloom.
