Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
And for a very good cause-the Clallum County Hospice Program. They had proper 1&2 man sculls, kayaks, row boats, canoes, and even paddle boards for a race around Sequim Bay. You can’t see the paddle boarders because they are so far behind. One even layed down on his board. BUT they did all eventually finish and raise a lot of money in the process.
This was the view of Sequim bay from my porch.
Lake Chelan is less than 5 hours away, and feels like a whole different world. The climate is high dessert, but with irrigation is next to the apple producing capital of the world!
There was a beautiful sunset with moon-unfortunately due to the fires still burning in the hills.
Ok technically it’s fall now. But August and beginning September did NOT seem like summer. Today did! This is the winner of the best 60’s car at the Port Ludlow car show (She happens to be my baby…)
Port Ludlow is just 30 minutes away and has a very active marina.
These swallows kept flying up and making the other move. This went on for a good 30 minutes.
Hiking the narrows in Zion has been a bucket list item for me. Had a great time on the McKay Photography Academy trip.
The hike to the Dungeness Lighthouse seems to go on forever. But this curving beach leading your eyes right to Mt Baker was a great distraction.
