The Whitney Gardens had a greenhouse full of beautiful blooming bleeding heart plants. The only trouble was trying to isolate a branch. So I did remove a lot of competing plants and add a texture to the background in photoshop to make this beautiful flower stand out.
The gardens comprise 30 hectares adjacent to Sydney Harbour. They are open and free and exquisitely maintained. This was a green house with a wrap around living mosaic wall and so many types of orchids and succulents. (These were all taken with my pixel phone.)
These chairs at Olympic Bluffs lavender and Cidery looked very tempting with their spectacular view of the Olympics.
Lots of venders–many art and jewelry tents, food, and of course LAVENDER!
Victor’s always has a fun upbeat barn dance each year on Friday and Saturday of the festival.
Please know that you can visit the farm outside of the festival (The week just before and after have lot of lavender and less crowds
This is a replica of the house George Washington owned. It is a B&B right on the straight with a neighboring lavender farm in front! P.S. it has GREAT VIEWS.
