These are two parts of the trail I took at Dungeness Rec Area. In the second one when I came to the meadow three deer were looking at me, but you’ll have to squint to find them probably. Everything is so green still, not surprising with the weather we’ve had.

House in Sequim
I like the magenta/purple ground cover at this house. Does anyone know what it is called? The landscaping for the whole house in general is nicely done, looks great.
Lake Dawn
This is a small lake on the way down from Hurricane Ridge.

Hanging baskets
These hanging baskets are throughout Sequim and I think they are so pretty and cheerful. I thought I remembered reading one time that they were done by a program at the high school, but I’m not sure. Happy Friday the 13th.
Cool Tree
Monkey tree? Monkey Puzzle Tree? Something else? I love the way it looks, one of my favorite trees in Sequim.
Master Gardeners
Yesterday I attended a worm composting class presented by the Master Gardeners in Sequim. I didn’t think the worm compost bins would make a particularly attractive picture, so I went with this one. The sign by this guy says “Meet Sluggo. Sluggo is a NW native Banana Slug (Ariolimax columbianus). Unlike his fellow banana slugs who only eat detritus (dead stuff), Sluggo survives on your donations. He loves coins but is really crazy about green leafy dollar bills. Sluggo is always hungry! You are welcome to feed him as much as you like (he is NOT on a diet). Sluggo uses your donations to help maintain his garden home”
The class was very informative and well attended. I enjoyed it and walking around the gardens after it was through.
