This was one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen in the WORLD. It was huge. We spent the better part of two days exploring, and I know we missed parts.

I bark for trees…
I love trees, and bark on trees, and lovely light on trees…
This was the holy grail for me. I can hear my son in my head…okay? whatever floats your boat mom…
Garden Rosalyn
Garden Rosalyn is a newer and smaller garden right around the corner from the BIG RoozenGaarde. They do not have any huge fields but all landscaped designs. The flowers were just barely opening when I was here. It would be even prettier in a week. I made this a little painterly–to me, flowers just seem to call for that.
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
Skagit Valley is just a hop, skip, and a ferry ride away. The flower fields are gorgeous. I was just about a week early for the tulips. But the daffodils shined their happy faces my direction!
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
It was just barely blooming when I went this year (April 5th) this year– I went to a new smaller garden right next to the big ones. It was called Garden Rosalyn. It was all sculpted with beautiful wavy lines. There were no big fields. It was beautiful. I can only imagine when in full bloom.
I turned this into a Van Gogh style painting.
Flower FUN–take a spin…
I had fun after my macro shooting session making art. Below is the original.
The woods are watching…
When I hike, I’m always seeing faces in trees and stumps. I saw this right away. (yes, I added the eyes but the sockets were already there!)
