I shot this in 30mph winds at Far Reaches Farm in Port Townsend. He was hanging on for dear life to his FAVORITE plant–thistle!

A thorny situation
It was hard to shoot due to the wind and I didn’t want to get whipped. It was near an old green house so my angle for getting a good background was very limited.
Ferny Vortex
When there is nothing super exciting to photograph when I’m hiking to my next adventure I like to take slow shutter images and spin my camera to see what happens…
I smell lavendar–it must be summer
I set up a remote camera to take this photo with my Bestie Diana at the Olympic Lavender field.
Feeling Artistic
I took this photo at the Japanese Garden in Carrie Blake Park. It was good but I like this painterly version better.
This is an AMAZING park in Sequim with botanical and japanese gardens, dog parks, a fishing pond, pickleball courts, playgrounds, an amphitheater, soccer fields and more.
Jonas’ Spot
This is dedicated to my good friend Jonas Benjamins. It was one of his favorite spots. He passed suddenly last month. He will be missed.
Is it just me or is this bridge wonky?
Dosewallips State Park
Our photographing in Dosewallips State Park. The bridge is still there…
This is an amazing State park and campground just across the street from Hood’s Canal. Lots of fun & easy hiking trails.
