Four corners
Sequim has an informal dining district at Washington Street and Seventh Avenue.
At the corner you can turn in most directions and have a choice of menus, all fast.
Get happy with your meals here.
Then, if you’re not so pleased with the choices you made, here’s what’s on the fourth corner, right within walking distance.
Hidden barn
It’s easy to miss this barn. It’s nestled on a rise behind a quilt store and a few eateries. But it’s still a pleasant surprise.
Humbug
So…I wonder if leaving Santa so many cookies is such a good idea…
Where the city does business
This is a view of the Sequim Civic Center that I haven’t shown before. Most of my other shots were taken from the side, back in the days before the plaza in front was completed. This is the view across Sequim Avenue.
And here is a view of the totem pole that resides on the plaza to the right of the city hall, a gift from the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, the area’s original residents.
Just looking
More window shopping at Over the Fence. Birds. Shiny things. Color. What’s not to like?
Staff of life
You can find good bread at Pane d’Amore. Count on it.
