What a treat to have such dappled sunlight on the trail this am.
This must be the year of the Pelican! I have never seen so many Pelicans at the beaches here before.
The beaches on the northern half of Washington coast are stunningly beautiful.
Ruby beach has a little inlet that is pretty safe for lil ones to play in.
Got this fun shot of a baby grey whale at whale cove on the Oregon coast. It was swimming with its mom and at the time we thought it was the tale of one and the other’s face. But later we learned from a docent that these huge whales can curve up like a banana (or more). So now I think it was just the baby. WE were so surprised how close to the rock they kept.
Crescent Moon Ranch has the cutest Alpacas I’ve seen. They are all “poodle cut” making them look adorable. You can buy bags of alfalfa to feed them.
I put this in sepia to make it look antiqued. I also had to remove lots of roaming people. It’s a popular place! P.s. this was the photo I put in the globe…
