This castaway crushed boat did not make it to Boat Haven (repair marina) in Port Townsend but instead washed up on the beach just below. Note the super crushed dinghy on the deck!
On the lighhouse grounds in Hansville (which have lots of picnic tables and benches) there is a series of driftwood art. It’s really cool. It’s fenced off so you cant get too close and kids won’t fall into the whale of a hole!
This is less than an hours drive from Sequim and has beautful picnic facilities and views of many types of vessels navigating Hood Canal.
This boat turned into house sits on the street to oPint No Point Light House in Hansville.
Lake Chelan is less than 5 hours away, and feels like a whole different world. The climate is high dessert, but with irrigation is next to the apple producing capital of the world!
There was a beautiful sunset with moon-unfortunately due to the fires still burning in the hills.
