I have lived here for almost 7 years and I never knew Kingston lit up the park at the ferry dock. It was amazing! As the ferry docked everyone was ohhing and ahhhing.

Riding the ferries from the peninsula is really breathtaking. EVERY ride is different with changing views.
Capture from the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston
Timing is everything. I was just driving off the ferry when i saw what I thought was an owl flying across the field. Trying hard not to run anyone over I followed it. I got to photograph this beautiful owl for almost 20 minutes (driving from here to there). It’s eyes were AMAZING!
I took this in Skagit Valley at the tulip festival. Had a lot of fun making cards with it. Below is the original. The lone yellow flower really caught my attention.
It’s been a very gloomy week here in Sequim. When I was searching for photos to post– this one made me happy. Hope it makes you smile too…
May all these showers bring spring flowers!
On an hike around Gibbs Lake the raindrops on the lichen kept catching my attention. This photo really doesn’t do it justice. Nature is always amazing. So go out and Forest Bath…it will do your soul good.
