These glass balls remind me of Christmas ornaments. I love hanging glass balls on my tree. The black glass surface really shows off the the glass at the Chihuly Glass and Garden musem. Can you tell I LOVE this place!
I could spend a lifetime photographing at the Chihuly Glass and Gardens in Seattle.
I’ve been really sick this last week AND the weather has been frightful with huge wind and rain storms. So I haven’t been out shooting. When I was looking for photos to post, I found I was drawn to all bright flower photos.
Here is one from Heronswood Garden in Kingston just 40 minutes from Sequim.
Glass was interspersed with beautiful landscaping…making it look like nature.
This room is a continuation of the Native American theme with canoes filled with glass balls. The whole exhibit is on black glass so the reflections are exquisite.
If you go to Seattle–GO to the Chihuly Garden–do not stop–it’s breathtaking! And as you can see most of it is under a roof or a big glass atrium with view of the space needle. Today it was raining so the glass had streaks going thru it. Made for a different shot than I have captured in the past.
