This Great Heron was also in search of a tasty lunch. I love the colors that the eel grass and water were this day. Matches the heron!
While boating on the hood canal we saw HUNDREDS of eagles dining on crabs during the low tide. I have NEVER seen so many eagles at one time.
One of these birds is not like the other….Did you guess oyster catcher? There was a fine buffet lunch served in the eel grass for all birdie friends.
