Elephants can cause a lot of damage, and you certainly need to yield and give them a wide berth. But they are very smart creatures and such a joy to observe. I had the pleasure of photographing this one in Tanzania.
This is a private slot canyon in Paige Arizona. They are amazing to see. We had to wait several days due to rain which makes these canyos treacherous. You could see the wae and debris line about 12 feet up the sides.
It’s been a very gloomy week here in Sequim. When I was searching for photos to post– this one made me happy. Hope it makes you smile too…

We made it to the top of some tricky hills in our jeeps during a rain storm. This is what we saw when we arrived. We took some fun shots and then B-lined it down to TRY and beat the flash floods. Let’s just say it was a very exciting trip back to Moab.

Bull elelphants go to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania— voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world- to die. This one seemed to be deemed by all the other species as the unofficial leader.
