Just outside of Otter Rock. Was on an amazing van trip down the coast. My friend and I just pulled over to a lookout point, opened the side door and took this all in!
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

Lots of people taking advantage of our warm fall this year. Ruby beach is about 90 minutes from Sequim and is part of the Olympic National Park.
This must be the year of the Pelican! I have never seen so many Pelicans at the beaches here before.
The beaches on the northern half of Washington coast are stunningly beautiful.
Ruby beach has a little inlet that is pretty safe for lil ones to play in.
Got this fun shot of a baby grey whale at whale cove on the Oregon coast. It was swimming with its mom and at the time we thought it was the tale of one and the other’s face. But later we learned from a docent that these huge whales can curve up like a banana (or more). So now I think it was just the baby. WE were so surprised how close to the rock they kept.
Protection Island was teaming with eagles all on the move.
These Salley crabs were everywhere in the Galapagos and they JUMP!
