The Dungeness Barnhouse Bed and Breakfast isn’t on the Lavender Festival Tour, but it’s vivid purple caught my eye when making the rounds. On a non-cloudy day, the mountains would be out behind it.

Barn by Friendly Lane
I looked it up and found it listed here. Good site if you are interested in the barns in Sequim and the Dungeness Valley area.
Larry from Los Alamos Daily Photo recently visited Sequim and took some great shots. Check them out here.
The Really Old Farm
The sign says “Built in 1920 by the Phillips Family. Renovated in 2008 by the Gilles Family. Available for Vacation Rental.”
Close to sunset
4-H
According to Wikipedia, “4-H in the United States is a youth organization administered by the Cooperative Extension System of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) with the mission of “engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development.”[1] The four “H”‘s stand for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. The organization serves over 9 million members in the United States from ages 5 to 21 in almost 100,000 clubs[2]. 4-H clubs and related organizations now exist in many other countries as well; the organization and administration varies from country to country.”
The Clallam County Fair gives 4-H youth a chance to share with their community what they have learned. This sign is on the side of the “Cat Barn”. Do you have a 4-H group in your community?
Barn by the side of the road
This barn is located on 101 between my place and town. They always have lots of farm animals and it is a lovely site in our busy lives.
A Rare View
I have taken a short break in the countdown to the Big Parade to share this hard to find farm scene in Sequim. Notice the hills in the back.. building is continuing.
