Happy Thanksgiving-So grateful for all of YOU!
Boulton farms is just north of Quilcene on Hwy 101.
This whole area is filled with homesteaded farms. Last week it looked gorgeous with all the fall colors, so I just had to stop and take a picture.
Sequim Valley
The valley below the Olympic Mountains, which is in the rain shadow but has lots of water available is fantastic farm land.
Lavender Connection
All of the farms are locally family owned and worked.
The only problem with getting low in the lavender is the BEES!

I have passed this barn so many times on hwy 101 and thought dang I wish I had my camera. Barbara was smarter than me and captured this wonderful shot.

Taking a selfie across the farm is an interesting process…
You have to figure out where you will be –then focus. Run across the field, get set, then trigger the remote without dropping the frame! But the light at 9pm was gorgeous. The lavender is blooming late this year so the buds were barely open.
