This is a huge picturesque farm off of hwy 101 just before you reach Sequim. This family has been here since 1910 farming and logging. Often within the white fence are baby cows and sheep (which I have been seen crawling up to the fence to photograph!)
This farm outside Chimacum was glowing in the light. I just had to pull over…

Boulton farms is just north of Quilcene on Hwy 101.
This whole area is filled with homesteaded farms. Last week it looked gorgeous with all the fall colors, so I just had to stop and take a picture.
The valley below the Olympic Mountains, which is in the rain shadow but has lots of water available is fantastic farm land.
