Hundreds of photographers swarm Yosemite on a certain day each fall when the temperature and the moon align just right to create a moonbeam in the falls at night. I was able to capture just one (see the bottom). This was taken with long exposure at 1am!
This was taken about 1am using slow exposure.
At the end of the festival they had a really cool light show with drones that flew around and created shapes and words.
We were shooting stars thru the hole of the arch when someone came thru the path with their light on. Usually you’d hear a collective groan as all athe shots were messed up. But this turned out pretty cool!
I woke up very early to see the moon still casting its reflection on Sequim Bay. Who needs sleep when there’s a good shot in front of you.
You can sleep when you’re dead right?
