I have been trying to photograph the Aurora for decades. And I finally got some good shots in my own back yard…Who’d of thought?
I had been out shooting from the marina when it started to die down so I went home. When I got home I saw this view from my house!
I have never been able to capture the aurora before. This was a glorious nite with dancing colors for hours.
I woke up yesterday early in the morning to this treat of a full moon with reflection over Sequim Bay.
THis guy was “singing” away and posing. It was a beautiful island. This is the iconic GALAPAGOS Sea LION not to be confused with the California seal. THese guys have ears (you can se it on the right side)
The male frigate birds puff up their red pouches (which can stay inflated for days) to attract females. He hasn’t moved for a while. There is a spider web just in front of him.
